A leading consumer goods company in Mexico City is looking for an experienced sourcing professional with over 15 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and negotiation skills, as well as being bilingual in Spanish and English. This role involves managing significant budgets and leading a team to achieve cost savings and supplier compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ~$250M in spend across Direct, Indirect, and D&T

• Develop productivity funnel to consistently deliver 3% to 4% cost savings annually

• Extend payment terms to meet or exceed industry benchmarks

• Ensure supplier on-time delivery, capacity, and lead time to meet service metrics and inventory objectives

• Identify and qualify suppliers for new products (NPD), regional diversification, risk mitigation, and productivity delivery

• Lead and support supplier negotiations and contract compliance

• Lead and develop team of sourcing professionals to successfully achieve objectives and career goals

• Close collaboration with LATAM GM’s and cross functional business partners to ensure delivery of annual objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sourcing or related field

• 15+ years of relevant sourcing experience required

• Ability to Travel (20-30%)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Strong analytic and decision-making skills

• Conflict management/Resolution experience

• Superior negotiation skills

• Ability to influence others

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously

• Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills

• Bilingual Communication (Spanish & English)

• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point

• Ability to work in a matrix organization
