Junior Sales Development Representative

Fully Remote Position with a U.S.-Based Company – Based Remotely in Mexico via UpWork

What You Will Do: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our remote sales team in the future. In this role, you will play a key part in qualifying leads and scheduling appointments for our Benefits Advisers. Your success will be measured by the number of qualified appointments set and the resulting sales conversions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your sales skills in a supportive, remote environment while contributing to a meaningful cause.

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients, qualifying leads based on their needs and eligibility.
  • Engage in meaningful conversations to understand clients’ situations and explain the value of our Medicaid planning services.
  • Schedule qualified appointments for Benefits Advisers to deliver tailored presentations and close deals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and lead progress in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve lead qualification processes.
  • Consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics, including appointment setting and conversion rates.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional phone demeanor.
  • High level of self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with potential clients and effectively address their concerns.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple leads and appointments.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills are required, as you’ll be engaging with U.S.-based clients.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Monthly salary of $30,000–$33,000 MXN.

Note: Role will begin on Upwork under the “Any Hire” option. After six months, team members with outstanding performance and a strong recommendation from their manager may be eligible to transition to an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement.

Working Hours & Employment Details
  • Employment Type: Independent Contractor engaged via UpWork.
  • Hours: Full-time, hourly position with work scheduled during U.S. business hours (Monday–Friday). Expected billable hours range between 35–40 per week, with an initial training period to establish the role’s workflow.
Home Office Requirements
  • Environment: A quiet, distraction-free workspace is essential.
  • Equipment: Provide your own hardware and high-speed internet. A computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM, a noise-canceling headset, and an external monitor is required. (Tablet use is not permitted for this role.)
  • Software: All work software required for the role will be provided by the Company.
