An investment firm in Mexico City is seeking a Financial Analyst to gather and analyze data, build financial models, and collaborate on investment opportunities. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years experience in finance or investments and a Bachelor's degree. Strong Excel skills are essential for this onsite position in Bosques de las Lomas.

Formación

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Investment banking, private equity, or Real Estate.
• Strong analytical skills with a quantitative mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and analyze data from diverse sources to develop comprehensive financial models and investment analyses
• Build and refine financial models to assess the feasibility and potential returns of hospitality investment opportunities
• Prepare internal and external investment memoranda for presentation to investment committees and stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members and managers on financial analyses, investment memoranda, and related matters
• Actively contribute to due diligence processes for prospective investments, including third-party evaluations where applicable
• Maintain and update financial models to reflect evolving market conditions and asset performance
• Conduct in-depth industry and market research, competitive landscapes, and economic factors
• Assist in the creation of asset management and development reports and materials, including performance summaries, strategic plans, and investor updates
• Track financial information and ensure GP-LP compliance for the private equity fund, including monitoring distributions, reporting obligations, and regulatory adherence
• Perform ad hoc and specialized analyses as requested by senior team members

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Investment banking, private equity, Real Estate, or similar field
• Financial modeling experience
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or similar
• Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or a related field
• Qualifications: Strong analytical skills with a quantitative mindset
• Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building, auditing, and optimizing complex financial models
