Job Title: Industrial Engineer 2nd Shift

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Role Purpose

Ensure safe and efficient manufacturing processes for value-added HCS-related products at HARTING Mexico Manufacturing, driving continuous improvement in quality, methods, and audit performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Implement continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Prepare PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
• Select machinery and tooling suppliers for new production lines.
• Analyze products/processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Lead automation projects and line balancing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for corrective and preventive actions.
• Comply with quality policies and objectives (ISO 9000, IATF 16949).

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing (electronics/cable).
• Advanced English.
• Knowledge of electrical connectors, pneumatics, SAP, CoreTools.
• Certification or experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
