We are looking for a highly motivated Human Resources Operations Assistant for our Zapopan operations. The HR Assistant is responsible for managing payroll and benefits and assisting with daily HR and Operations tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Department, including processing HR- and payroll-related forms and requests and handling new hire orientations.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of time & attendance.
  • Create semi-monthly payroll exceptions report.
  • Coordinate Medical Surveillance needs.
  • Assist in the benefits enrollment process and benefit changes.
  • Help maintain positive employee relations and ensure that employees are treated fairly and equitably.
  • Provide superior customer service to employees and assist them with HR issues and inquiries.
  • Assist with HR activities, including recruitment, training, compensation, promotion, termination, performance management, and career development.
  • Assist with creating, implementing, administering, and/or communicating HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Conduct HR related training as needed.
  • Administer random and reasonable suspicion drug testing.
  • Assist with the administration of leaves of absence, in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining employee e-files and other applicable HR documentation, helping to ensure legal compliance.
  • Assist EHS with workers’ compensation injuries/claims and associated follow-up.
  • Assist Operations in other issues that may involve HR and EHS related topics.
  • Create, maintain, and submit HR statistical and weekly/monthly reports in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's/Bachelor's in related field preferred)
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish
  • Two years of experience in HR administration or related field
  • Basic benefits knowledge.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems preferred
  • High degree of detail, accuracy, and personal accountability
  • Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with all levels of employees
  • Ability to work at times in the Administrative Office in Guadalajara.

Salary Range
  • 19,000 to 24,000 MNX before taxes per month
