Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Driver Recruiter to join our team.

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants per company guidelines, while simultaneously improving driver retention and safety standards.

Additionally, the Recruiter will work closely with multiple departments in order to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company and play a pivotal role in our recruitment efforts.

  • Conduct new hire check in calls at 7, 30, 60 and 90 days.
  • Assist with driver's issues reported by drivers and dispatchers and support operations management with solving.
  • Identify drivers who are potential retention issues and keep in close contact to correct their situation.
  • Proactively call drivers to identify any potential problems / obtain general feedback.
  • Conduct Exit Interviews for resigning drivers and identify opportunities for retention.
  • Ability to build genuine rapport with drivers.
  • Assist with booking travel for drivers when applicable.
Primary Responsibilities
  • As the first positive point of contact for each driver, promote the company's successful history, along with competitive compensation, benefit, and company offerings.
  • Process and review the proper reports and documents to ensure drivers meet our qualifications : MVRs, PSPs, Background Checks.
  • Review the validity of the driver's CDL, Social Security Card, and Medical Card and request additional supporting document when necessary.
  • Utilize the Tenstreet platform to assign pre-employment tasks, videos, and documents.
  • Work closely with the Orientation Team to help facilitate new driver orientation.
  • Available to work a half shift (4 hours) one Saturday every other month.
  • Various other support functions.
