About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and sales driven person to develop the local market strategies seeking to further grow the company's market share in all the different lines of business where Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Mexico is active.

You bring strong market presence and foster external relationships to translate client needs into an attractive direct insurance CorSo solutions offering.

In this client-facing position you would be responsible for :

  • Develops a clear understanding of the clients' insurance needs and implements "go-to-market" strategies
  • Seeking out Managed Brokers and forming working relationships with the premier buyers and intermediaries
  • Overseeing and managing Sales Managers
  • Forecasting future sales and challenging sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
  • Create new distribution channels
  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions
  • Optimizing company EBIT
  • Forming strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative
  • Handles sensitive client-related issues and leads internal processes to ensure swift delivery to client requests
  • Be on top of the company Marketing strategy and make the best use of it
  • Ensures compliance with CorSo guidelines
  • Acts according to company's Code of Conduct
About the Team

Your role is to ensure top quality execution of client planning, origination of new business, in force portfolio management, annual renewals, new strategic opportunities and management of internal and external communications relating to the Swiss Re relationship with clients.

About You
  • University degree or equivalent with a strong business component preferred
  • Significant experience (more than 10 years) in the Mexican direct insurance business in a front-line role
  • A sales track record and a successful negotiator, comfortable interacting effectively across all levels
  • Proven ability to foster network of clients and partners
  • Experience managing sales teams
  • Know how to work in matrix structure and cross functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Spanish and English
