You will be responsible for improving performance, implementing best practices, and collaborating cross-functionally. Ideal candidates should have 4 years in backend development with a strong focus on GO, proficiency in REST APIs, microservices, Docker, and agile methodologies. Formación

• 4 years of backend development, ideally with GO.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices and Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Experience with caching technologies like Redis.
• Familiarity with event streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Proficient in different database engines like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.

As an Engineer Lead at Rappi, you will be responsible for designing and leading the teams and systems that power our innovative platform. You will leverage your expertise in Golang, asynchronicity, Kafka, SQS, as well as monitoring tools like New Relic or Splunk to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for :

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams

Reliability and performance improvements discovery, prioritization and implementation

Review and refinement of technical aspects of business development proposals

Leading the team in implementing engineering best practices

Keeping the team members challenged and motivated

Guiding the team in backlog grooming

Preparing and performing sprint releases

Maintaining on-call support schedule

Team microservice's internal architectural decisions

Collaborating with other EL/EM on the design of solutions spanning multiple teams

Team metrics weekly reporting
