A leading ecommerce solutions provider in Mexico City is seeking an Ecommerce Specialist focused on enhancing digital sales strategies for B2B and B2C platforms. The successful candidate will manage the web product roadmap, collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams, as well as optimizing overall customer experience. Strong project management skills and effective bilingual communication are essential for this role, which offers opportunities for growth and impact in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

  • At least 3 years of experience in Web/eCommerce specialist or digital project management.

Ecommerce Specialist

Overview: The ecommerce specialist facilitates the ongoing evolution of our corporate web site and helps grow revenue via B2B and B2C ecommerce. The Web/eCommerce specialist helps to develop online experiences that are persuasive and purpose-driven, serving customers at key points in their journey while increasing revenue and improving customer satisfaction. An ecommerce specialist is an expert in online sales strategies and the various platforms used to conduct digital sales or conversions on our website. The ecommerce specialist responsibilities include monitoring the day-to-day activity on the site and its overall performance to achieve goals like improving user experience, increasing website traffic and sales, and developing brand loyalty.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Serve as an intermediary with the center of excellence, helping set the strategy and vision for web and ecommerce at McGraw Hill Latam.
  • Define & execute the product roadmap for web/ecommerce.
  • Manage the backlog and prioritize work for maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing in McGraw Hill business units, to understand web & ecommerce needs and translate them into product enhancements and features.
  • Work with the digital marketing team to understand needs for digital campaigns and customer acquisition strategies and build related work into the roadmap.
  • Liaise with global engineering teams and stakeholders to plan, schedule, and deliver features and enhancements.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for web and ecommerce across all functional groups at McGraw Hill.
  • Collaborate with operations department to ensure content on the website.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • College Marketing or Digital design or Public relations.
  • Masters Degree Marketing or digital commerce (optional).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • At least 3 years of experience in Web/eCommerce specialist, product development or digital project management.
  • English as a second language (90-100% bilingual).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across functional areas, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects and work with a variety of stakeholders and teams, including business and engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in the use of web analytic tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and switch priorities and focus areas as needed.
  • Proven ability to define and use metrics to track qualitative data.
  • Familiarity with web and eComm standards and best practices, including privacy compliance and accessibility principles, practices, and testing.
