A leading global technology company in Mexico is seeking a Media Strategy Manager to own paid media and social media strategy, manage digital media plans, and work closely with media agencies. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in online media and be fluent in English. This role offers a collaborative environment focused on innovation and strategic growth.

Responsible for delivering consistent and efficient engagement and sales activities to create and optimize customer journeys and plan and buy media.
Main accountabilities and supporting activities:
Own paid media and social media strategy
Working closely with the Marketing Managers to define end to end paid media strategy across all channels: bring a strong point of view on the role of all paid media touchpoints to integrate into annual media strategy and campaign media guidelines
Develop and coordinate integrated paid media Strategies for Mexico, building strong customer journeys through the funnel (audience understanding, audience mapping, media agency brief, recommendation to Marketing leaders)
Be the internal expertise for all paid media activities relevant to the category: support Marketing Manager to develop media processes, guidelines, KPIs, and share best practices
Work closely with the category managers to build and monitor the paid media budget.
Develop and maintain the Paid Media forecast to deliver each digital channel’s budget, aligned to the Direct and Marketing budget
Owner of the strategy development for Retail Media aside with sales and Global media agency.
Operational support of the digital performance media channels together with our local and international media agency and our EU media hub
Define social media strategy and implement to increase social media community within Mexican market and Dyson
Deliver integrated digital media plans
Manage paid media activities: from concept ideation to post-implementation analysis
Align concepts, look & feel, content, and tone with Global Social media to ensure Dyson brand image.
Coordinate paid media production: follow-up on assets delivery to media partners and social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, ensuring media partners’ approval and implementation
Monitor all paid media activities against set KPIs, daily track and optimize our strategy-planning-buying – messaging to ensure high level of efficiency and effectiveness, and deliver reporting / analysis through available media tools
Work closely with media agency
Work with media agency on a day-to basis and become the touch point for our paid and social media strategy definition and implementation including coordination of community management
Accountable of media expenditure, responsible for follow-up and changes in a daily base.
Media agency negotiation with publishers: challenge to get the most of our resource aligned with global guidelines.
Support on paid media budget evaluation including financial reconciliations.
Owner experience
Partner with Global and Regional Owner Experience teams to define Mexico’s owner experience roadmap and support the timely roll out of programs and technology enhancements that enable the long-term vision
Champion and build Dyson Mexico registered and contactable Owners community. Develop strategies to build more registered owners through all channels, including actively partnering with Sales team to increase registrations at or after the point of purchase
Leverage various data sources to understand and grow high-value Owner segments. Collaborate with Customer Care, eCommerce and Category teams to develop KPIs and communication strategies to enhance their experience and drive business results.
3 years of online media business experience – strategy and planning
Previous media agency experience or intense collaboration with agencies is a plus
Advanced knowledge of the media landscape (now, new, next)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Highly-organized and collaborative cross-functionally with the ability to work quickly to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing timelines simultaneously
Strong ability to recommend strategic opportunities and innovation staying ahead of the trends, while keeping the operation impeccable, with a solid service mentality
Organized and process driven, great attention to details
Analytical skills, with the ability to use data to understand and improve performance
