Salary & Contract Details

• Monthly salary: from USD $850 up to USD $10,500
• Contracts: 6 to 8 months onboard
• Paid in USD
• Real international work experience (not internships)

General Requirements – Cruise Ship Employment

To be considered for onboard opportunities through Carsea, candidates must meet the following:

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 21 years old (depends on cruise line & position)
• Previous experience at least 1 year in hospitality, service, culinary, sales, wellness, or related fields
• Strong customer service mindset (cruise life = people, all day, every day)
• Ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced environment
• Physically and mentally fit to work long hours onboard

Language Skills

• Intermediate to advanced English (mandatory)
• Additional languages are a plus (not required)

Documentation (Mandatory)

• Valid passport (minimum 12–18 months validity, depending on cruise line)
• Ability to obtain:
  • Seafarer medical certificate
  • Required visas (C1/D, Schengen, etc. – varies by nationality & cruise line)
  • Maritime or safety certificates (STCW, where applicable)

👉 Candidates must be able to initially cover document costs

Availability & Commitment

• Availability to work 6–8 months onboard
• Willingness to live and work full-time at sea
• Flexibility to embark on assigned dates
