A leading electronics manufacturing company is seeking a meticulous Cost Analyst in El Salto, Jalisco. The role involves maximizing profitability through expense control, material costing analysis, and strategic reporting. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 2-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of cost accounting systems, data management, and intermediate-advanced English is essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years in Cost Accounting or Financial Analysis roles.
• Experience in manufacturing sector is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maximize profitability through control and monitoring of expenses.
• Investigate and control expenses, performing Material Costing.
• Design and implement formal cost calculation methods and budget systems.
• Prepare cost reports and perform economic-financial analysis of projects.
• Research price trends and create cost models for commercial bids.
• Interact with Production, Engineering, and Management for compliance.

We are the leading electronics manufacturing company. We are looking for a meticulous professional for the position of COST ANALYST with expert command of expense analysis, material costing, and profitability across business units.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Public Accounting (Title is mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years in Cost Accounting or Financial Analysis roles, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Essential Technical Knowledge:
  • Cost Accounting: Solid command over the design, implementation, and tracking of cost systems.
  • Material Costing: Specific experience in determining material cost and tracking direct labor.
  • Data Systems: Database management, including Access (database manager) for data extraction and analysis.
  • Account Management: Experience handling International AP (Accounts Payable at an international level).
  • Language: Intermediate-Advanced English (essential for direct interaction with international clients).
• Objective and Key Responsibilities:
  • Objective: To maximize the company's profitability through the control and monitoring of expenses, acting as the primary source of economic information for decision-making.
  • Profitability Analysis: Investigate and control expenses, performing Material Costing and analyzing variances between standard and actual costs.
  • System Implementation: Design and implement formal cost calculation methods and budget systems.
  • Strategic Reporting: Prepare cost reports (including Revenue and Sales Reports) and perform economic-financial analysis of projects for Finance and Management.
  • Forecasting and Research: Research price trends and create cost models for developing commercial bid budgets.
  • Interdepartmental Support: Directly interact with Production, Engineering, and Management to seek efficiencies and ensure compliance with financial plans.

Work Schedule

Fixed Administrative Shift: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Work Location

Foxconn Montenegro II Plant.
