A leading aerospace company in Mexico seeks a Continuous Improvement professional with a strong background in operational excellence. Responsibilities include analyzing data for improvement, implementing lean methodologies, and coordinating projects. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business. This role requires collaboration with local and corporate departments to ensure alignment.

Responsible for maintaining a robust project pipeline to continue improvement KPIs in terms of Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost.

What You Will Do
  • Analyze data and trends of the entire Value Stream/Business Unit to determine opportunities for improvement.
  • With the functional team, create and implement a plan to turn the current state map into the future state map using lean techniques.
  • Execute and coordinate continuous improvement tasks and projects within Value Stream/Business Unit.
  • Foster project management discipline, providing expertise and support in the intake, initiation, planning, execution, transition and closure of projects, supporting the Management of Change.
  • Foster a sustainable continuous improvement culture (Lean Sigma) to deliver business results by acting as Mentor and Subject Matter Expert on continuous improvement methodologies for the department.
  • Collaborate with local and Corporate’s Continuous Improvement organization.
  • Develop, promote and coordinate cultural activities with HR, EHS & Quality department for engagement and awareness on Integrated Systems CI mindset.
  • Coordinate Leadership Week, Lean bootcamp training, monthly trainings, etc.
  • Participate and support policy deployment exercises such as x-matrix, risk register, macro plan, among others.
  • Streamline processes and operations to allow for growth.
  • Lead project progress meetings and communications for projects owned by this position.
  • Complete 30‑60‑90 day reviews after event closures to ensure successful delivery has been achieved.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement, OPEX professional or Industrial Engineering role with a strong background in Operational or Excellence Systems deployment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience implementing Lean tools in manufacturing environments in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience interacting with all levels of the organization (operators, supervisors, engineers, managers & directors).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business disciplines (preferred).
  • Fluent in written and oral Spanish and English; able to maintain regular communication in both languages.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance with industry standards.
  • Advanced application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in both shop floor and functional environments. Demonstrated understanding in Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Advanced Project Management knowledge. Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in using tools. Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
  • Advanced experience in change management and management of change.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Lean and/or Black Belt certifications or equivalent preparation.
