Clinical Team Lead, Phase I

About the Role

As a Phase I Clinical Team Lead, you'll own the clinical delivery process, ensuring successful trial delivery in collaboration with project teams, functional leads, and clients. You'll oversee clinical and site management aspects, leveraging innovation, proactive problem-solving, and operational excellence to meet project goals within budget and timeline constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Develop and implement clinical project strategies, ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual deliverables.
• Risk & Quality Management: Leverage data and risk management principles to identify and mitigate risks while adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
• Operational Oversight: Manage subject recruitment, clinical vendor delivery, monitoring visits, and regulatory/ethics submissions.
• Team Building: Inspire high-performing teams, mentor members, and foster collaboration across multicultural, matrixed environments.
• Financial Accountability: Manage project budgets, track KPIs, and oversee change order processes.
• Business Development: Participate in bid defense preparation and presentations to support new business growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in clinical research/CRO.
• Previous Clinical Team Lead or Lead CRA experience required.
• Phase I experience preferred by not required.
• Proficiency in ICH Guidelines, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or advanced certification.
• PMP Certification.
