Position Overview
The CEO leads a multi-state home health agency, responsible for strategic direction, operational excellence, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures high-quality, cost-effective care while driving growth across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the agency’s strategic vision and growth plans
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation
- Build strong relationships with regulators, referral partners, and community stakeholders
- Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across all states, ensuring consistent care delivery and staff performance
- Standardize processes and leverage technology for operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements (CMS, state DOHs, etc.)
- Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage budgets, P&Ls, and KPIs across regions
- Optimize reimbursement and revenue cycle performance
- Drive cost-effective growth and identify new market opportunities
- Quality & Compliance
- Lead quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Maintain full compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation and state regulations
- Guide agencies through surveys and audits
- Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and retain a high-performing executive and field team
- Set clear goals and hold leaders accountable across locations
- Promote a collaborative, mission-driven culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in healthcare, business, or related field preferred
- 8+ years of senior leadership in home health or post-acute care, multi-state experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicare home health regulations, compliance, and reimbursement
- Proven ability to manage operations at scale and lead through change
- Strong financial acumen and experience with multi-site P&L oversight
- Willingness to travel regularly across PA, NH, and FL
