A leading industrial heating solutions firm in Mexico City is looking for a CAD Drafter to design heat tracing systems based on customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in heat tracing design and proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation. You will collaborate with engineers and customers, ensuring design accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic team environment.

We are seeking a CAD Drafter to design heat tracing systems based on customer specifications. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of designs, support customer satisfaction, and contribute to project profitability. You will work closely with engineers and customers to produce high-quality drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design small to medium heat tracing projects or multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with the engineering team, project manager, and CAD group to generate isometric drawings.
• Engage with customers on technical specifications and requirements.
• Create and review drawings using VisiTrace/AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Perform site surveys to gather design-related information.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in heat tracing design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Thermon design software (CompuTrace, VisiTrace, TSDS).
• English proficiency is preferred but not required.
