An established industry player is seeking a talented CAD Designer Intermediate to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will lead technical meetings, develop parametric 3D data, and propose innovative engineering solutions. Formación

  • 5+ years in automotive development, designing vehicle interiors.
  • Advanced knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFM, GD&T, and materials.

DESCRIPTION
  • Lead and coordinate technical meetings with clients.
  • Develop and build parametric 3D data autonomously according to construction standards and propose new ways to increase construction efficiency with the level of quality required by other EDAG offices and our clients.
  • Develop concept sections according to construction guidelines.
  • Propose engineering solutions according to technology (plastics or sheet metal).
  • Create 2D drawings and apply knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, injection molding, SMC, thermoforming.
  • Train team members with less experience, coordinating and reviewing their work.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, presenting problems, proposals, and solutions with associated advantages and risks.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have at least 5+ years of experience in the automotive development industry.
  • Experience designing for vehicle interiors (doors, console, and IP for Interior Trim).
  • Advanced knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFM, GD&T, Materials.
  • Experience with plastic and metal parts.
  • International experience is desirable.
  • Experience in developing phases from concept to tooling kick-off.
  • Fluent in English. German A2 is desirable.
