A leading technology company in Xico, Mexico, is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their team developing a machine learning product. You will be responsible for building a solid foundation through hands-on experience and contributing directly to feature design and implementation. Candidates should have expertise in C++ or Python, familiarity with Bazel, and a strong ability to engage in design conversations. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential for this role, where a passion for technology and solving complex problems is valued.

The product is an inference engine that allows to run trained models in a fast and simple way.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong foundation through hands‑on experience with system integration, demoing, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute directly to feature design and implementation, playing a key role in shaping the future of our product.

Qualifications

• Experience in C++ or Python.
• Experience with Bazel tool and Blaze.
• Ability to tackle high‑complexity tasks independently.
• Ability to engage in software design conversations.
• Ability to obtain information indirectly to identify risks to the team or projects.
• Provide technical specialty or architectural guidance for current and potential new projects.
• Identify and recommend creative ways to leverage and/or enhance existing practices.
• Fluent in both Spanish & English to feel comfortable in a bilingual environment.
• Nice to have: proficiency in Javascript.
• Experience with Protobuf.
