A government transportation agency in Mexico, Coahuila, is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to provide essential transportation services to senior clients. Responsibilities include transporting clients to various destinations, delivering meals, and maintaining bus records. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and preferably some experience in bus driving. Knowledge of transportation guidelines is essential, and a CDL is preferred but not mandatory.

Formación

  • One year or more experience with driving a bus preferred.

BUS DRIVER - PART TIME

Marshall County currently has an opening for a Part Time - Bus Driver at the Martling Senior Center. The individual selected for this position provides transportation to and from senior center, appointments with healthcare professionals, shopping trips, and other needed local trips. Deliver meals and helps serve meals and help both in center and homes.

Essential Job Functions
  • Transport clients to and from senior centers
  • Transport clients to appointments, errands, and other needy trips
  • Conduct telephone surveys for interest in attending centers
  • Pack and deliver meals for homebound clients
  • Assist with center activities as needed
  • Assist clients by carrying packages, groceries, etc. into homes
  • Keep records on bus for reports
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Inspect vehicle and request repairs as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of transportation guidelines
  • Knowledge of bus operation and maintenance checks
  • Ability to prepare and complete reports
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • CDL preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of bus maintenance reports
  • One year or more experience with driving a bus preferred
