About The Role

This is a full‑time remote position for a Business Development Representative (BDR). You will serve as the front line of the sales engine, responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities across the company’s core practice areas.

You will proactively conduct outreach to potential clients using a multi‑channel approach, identify their project needs, and nurture prospects through the early stages of the sales funnel. By collaborating closely with engineering and leadership teams, you will help refine value propositions and pave the way for closing deals that support the client’s strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and research potential clients across core practice areas: Solar, MEP, Low Voltage, Fire Suppression, and Government Projects.

Outreach & Qualification

  • Execute a multi‑channel outreach strategy (email, phone, SMS, social media).
  • Engage key decision‑makers, understand engineering and construction needs, and qualify leads based on project potential and fit.

Pipeline Management

  • Maintain meticulous tracking of all outreach activities and lead progression in the CRM.
  • Keep a clean, accurate, and up‑to‑date pipeline for the sales team.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior sales and engineering leadership to pass along qualified opportunities with full context.
  • Ensure a smooth and professional client experience.

Market Intelligence

  • Gather insights from the field regarding market trends and competitors.
  • Share findings to help shape the company’s go‑to‑market strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in B2B Business Development, Sales Development, or similar lead‑generation role.
  • Advanced English (C1/C2) and fluent Spanish are mandatory.
  • Availability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
  • A hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to proactively source new business.
  • Strong sense of ownership, highly coachable, responsible.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate technical value propositions clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience using CRM software.
  • Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to thrive in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience or knowledge in the construction and/or renewable energy industry.
  • Experience with prospecting platforms such as Apollo.
  • Familiarity with Odoo ERP is a plus.
