A leading global engineering company is seeking a Lead Robotics & Automation Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of automated systems. This role requires expertise in programming and integration of industrial robots, as well as leadership and communication skills to coordinate teams. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and fluency in English. This position is on-site in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León, and involves working five days a week.

As a Lead Robotics & Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of automated systems and production lines that interact with industrial robots. This role combines technical expertise in programming, integration, and maintenance with leadership, decision‑making, and effective communication skills to coordinate teams and suppliers.
Availability and Reliability: Design and execute preventive/predictive maintenance plans aligned with UP‑TIME, MTTR, and MTBF metrics.
Programming and Optimization: Implement and improve programs for robots (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa) and PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens), ensuring accuracy and functional safety (ISO 13849, ANSI/RIA).
Integration and Troubleshooting: Solve complex issues in robot–PLC systems, industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET), and machine vision systems (Cognex, Key atleast).
Technical Leadership: Train personnel on automation and safety procedures, documenting standards and best practices.
Supplier Management: Coordinate external support and ensure compliance with regulations and budgets.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Electronics, or related field.
Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written).
Required Knowledge: Expertise in programming and integrating robots and PLCs in industrial environments; experience leading projects and technical teams.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Validation of trajectories, backups, and technical documentation to prevent errors in robot and PLC programming.
Decision‑Making and Critical Thinking: Prioritization based on metric analysis (UP‑TIME, MTTR, MTBF) and RCA methodologies to resolve critical failures.
Planning and Organization: Development of maintenance plans and management of critical spare parts to avoid bottlenecks.
Problem‑Solving: Structured troubleshooting of failures in robotic systems and timely escalation based on impact.
Internal Customer Service: Quick response to line stoppages, adapting продукты programming to product changes, and documenting corrective actions.

Work Mode: On‑site, 5 days per week
Schedule: 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (subject to changes; availability for shift changes and one weekend per month basedensed on staff rotation)
