You as a Network-Wi-Fi Engineer will join our Professional Services Team and you will be involved on challenging projects of delivery.
Your main goal will be to ensure that clients solution requirements are implemented and resolved in a proper way. Within your team you will have to manage the activities for the implementation of the Network and Wi-Fi projects. You will be able to act with a good level of autonomy, managing relationship with your Stakeholders.
You will be involbed in:
- Defining needs and design Network and Wi-Fi solutions;
- Implementing the project;
- Conducting site survey also with specific instruments (e.g. Ekahau)
- Installation of antennas
- Doing spectrum analysis
- Preparing project documentation comprehension and completion;
- Acting as a technical project specialist to ensure that all technical requirements are satisfied and work properly in client's environment;
- Giving third level support for complex troubleshooting when required
- Ensuring Client satisfaction.
What would make you a good fit for this role?
- Knowledge about RF technologies
- Ability to do spectrum analysis
- Experience about operating modes of access points (Root, Bridge, Spectrum, WGB)
- Proficient in basic configurations and Upgrade of WLC
- Knowledge of : Regulators (DFS, etc), algorithms RRM (DCA, TPC, etc), Deploy RTLS (Real-Time Location Services) and authentications 802.1X/EAP (nice to have)
- Degree in Computer /Telecommunications/ Engineering or equivalent Diploma
- Good level of English (spoken and written)
- Availability to travel for business reason
- Strong knowledge of Wifi Cisco Solutions (Es. Cisco Meraki) and nice to have Aruba
- Experience in Networking and Wi-Fi projects
- CCNA Routing&Switching
- CCNA Wireless (preferred)
