A leading logistics solutions provider in Milan is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop relationships with key accounts in the logistics and supply chain sectors. The role requires a university degree and 10-15 years of relevant experience within the freight forwarding industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing tailored solutions for clients.

PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.
Successful candidates will utilize their proven track record in sales to identify, qualify, establish and maintain profitable business relationships. They will sell global solutions logistics services to large-sized (“battleship”) companies in the automotive, e-commerce, chemical, life science, consumer products and retail industries.
Responsible to sell to all accounts engaging with the customer and the network to develop strong relationships within multi-regional chemical, life science / health care, consumer products and retail companies not currently conducting business with PSA BDP.
Partnering with RFQ’s and tenders both internally and externally to ensure a tailored pricing and service offering to the customer.
Actively plan, executive the strategic, define the strategic approach and value proposition to continuously improve, innovate and drive the customer experience.
Achieve given budget and Revenue and establish long-term business relationships.
Develop solutions unique to each company to reduce overall logistics costs, all whilst improving sales to current and new customers.
Work closely with each region and use all available resources from the group to transfer all knowledge about potential clients.
Maintain customer relationships throughout their contract to encourage contract renewal and / or extension, or issuance of a new RFQ.
Must possess a university degree.
10-15 years of sales and / or account management experience in Italy within the freight forwarding industry.
Significant experience in logistics sales, supply chain management and / or experience within multiple verticals.
Has experience or working within a matrixed environment.
