The role
You will be part of the Technical Support team, focusing on post-sales support and intervention management for Italian clients, spending approximately 80% of your time onsite. Your main goal will be to ensure optimal installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment supplied by the company, helping reduce machine downtime and maximize plant efficiency. You will work closely with international manufacturers and the internal Service team, actively contributing to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of technical service quality.
Your responsibilities
- Install and test systems and machines at client sites across Italy
- Perform routine and extraordinary maintenance on electronic and automation components
- Diagnose faults and malfunctions, proposing effective technical solutions
- Provide technical assistance via phone or remote support when needed
- Prepare technical reports on interventions performed
- Collaborate with the technical department to improve products and user manuals
Ideal candidate profile
- Willing to travel frequently across Italy (approximately 80%)
- Diploma in electrical, electrotechnical, or electronic/automation technical fields
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within manufacturing environments of mechanical processing machinery
- Knowledge of electrical technical drawings and diagnostic tools
- Good understanding of electromechanical components and PLCs
- English language proficiency at B1 level
- Autonomous, precise, and customer-oriented
