A leading retail company is seeking a Web Designer to join their team in Brugherio for a maternity cover starting from June 2024. In this role, you will design and create content to support brand initiatives and enhance customer experience across their e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in web design, proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite. The Opportunity

For a maternity cover starting from June 2024, we are looking for a Web Designer to join our team in Brugherio (MB).

Your Impact

Reporting directly to the Manager of Creative Direction, you will be responsible for designing and creating content to support brand initiatives, products, events, and QVC's commercial goals, enhancing our website graphics, newsletters, and customer experience.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain the e-commerce website through graphic proposals aligned with company guidelines.
  2. Design and project the e-commerce website content based on provided copy and relevant to brand, product, and event descriptions.
  3. Create brand pages and category landing pages.
  4. Design advertising banners, landing pages, social media assets, and newsletters.
  5. Develop creative content to support events and brand launches.
  6. Implement new creative solutions to improve product and event information quality, enhancing customer experience.
  7. Manage web updates, graphic maintenance, and creative content for newsletters.
  8. Collaborate with relevant departments involved in company initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Web Designer.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (responsive design), and ActionScript.
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and open-source software.
  • Good knowledge of WordPress is a plus.
  • Familiarity with main web browsers and cross-platform compatibility solutions.
  • Willingness to learn and share techniques with the team.
  • Proficiency in English.
