The resource will be responsible for:
- Installing and maintaining corporate database architecture and services
- Identifying system requirements and installing upgrades
- Monitoring and analyzing database performance
- Troubleshooting system configurations based on production needs
- Deploying and maintaining database infrastructures in compliance with security rules, strategic choices, and corporate policies
- Manage a database migration on Cloud
The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in enterprise environments, with hands-on expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch, and will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all systems, both on-premises and in cloud environments: Azure and AWS.
The resource should have experience in:
- Application change requests, index and statistics maintenance
- Backup and restore strategies (models, types, recovery planning)
- Disaster recovery planning (RPO/RTO compliance)
- Administering Windows and Linux servers
- Managed database services on Azure and AWS
- Basic scripting skills in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and Bash
- Understanding of database design and architecture
- Use of corporate ticketing tools for issue and change management
