A company specialized in industrial cooling systems is seeking a Chief Accountant in Mortara, Italy. This role involves overseeing finance operations, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, and maintaining accurate financial records. Candidates should have 5-8 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of financial and management accounting, and proficiency in Excel and PowerBI. Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of financial, fiscal and management accounting.

- Secure high quality in finance operations and fiscal declarations.
- Ensure all accounting documents and transactions comply with local law and tax regulations.
- Prepare monthly and periodic statutory reporting.

Our Client is a company specialized in the design, production, and service of industrial cooling systems, temperature controllers, and process air dehumidifiers.
- Secure high quality in finance operations and fiscal declarations
- Ensure all accounting documents and transactions comply with local law and tax regulations
- Maintain day‑to‑day financial, accounting, administrative, and fiscal services to meet legislative requirements and support local operations
- Prepare monthly and periodic statutory reporting
- Prepare all official reports and tax returns
- Perform monthly payroll operations in relation with outsourcing company
- Perform various bookkeeping and ad‑hoc responsibilities as defined by Business Controller
- Participate in all audit processes: internal and external, preparing reports, statements and reconciliations requested
- Provide correct and timely figures and reports and raise red flags when needed
- Manage the filing, storage and security of documents
- Responsible for all credit & collection activities
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a similar role
- Very good knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Strong knowledge of financial, fiscal and management accounting
- Good knowledge of local and fiscal regulations
- Good understanding of ERP systems and how they work
- Expertise in Excel and working knowledge of PowerBI
- Degree in Economics
