For our Savigliano site in Italy we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Supplier Quality Serial Life Engineer / Professional.
Purpose of the job
- Apply and deploy Serial Supplier Quality Assurance policy in collaboration with Procurement
- Responsible for Non-Conformity Report management and Supplier performance for a precise scope of suppliers/projects, after the product validation, the First Article Inspection (FAI) + 3 deliveries
- Perform inspections for low-critical parts
- Manage Quality performance of assigned Suppliers
- Manage Incoming Inspection activities when appointed SQ inspection leader for the given site
Main responsibilities
SQ Serial Performance management
- Responsible for day-to-day Non-Conformity management, informing the supplier of NCRs, replacing defective parts and implementing containment
- Animate Non-Conformities Report treatment by setting up relevant action plans to reach NCR targets
- Invoice the Cost Of Non-Quality (CONQ S1) to the suppliers
- Ensure management of Supplier waivers for the assigned scope
- Containment actions: Organize the retrofit to be performed by the supplier
- Decide on a quality wall if necessary
- Solving issues & Continuous Improvement: Secure timely and complete supplier containment actions to protect the manufacturing line; challenge suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions; verify effectiveness
- Check the effectiveness of the supplier CAPA, request evidences, and perform supplier visits; ensure sustainability of the control plan with regular follow-up on main suppliers
- Set up and manage supplier improvement roadmaps for non-performing suppliers according to the Supplier Quality escalation process (Green / Yellow / Red)
- Organize reviews with suppliers and visit suppliers’ premises as necessary
- Inspection of low-critical parts: Ensure performance of inspections for low-critical parts; verify effectiveness of CAPA and ensure control plan sustainability
- For trusted suppliers: participate in Return Of Experience (REX) analysis
- Prepare and monitor supplier Quality reviews at unit level to tackle top issues
Educational requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent
- Familiar with supplier qualification standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.)
