A leading global transport solutions provider is seeking a Train Performance Manager in Savigliano, Italy. In this role, you will lead the technical development and validation of train systems, ensuring compliance with performance and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with customers, lead project teams, and manage train reliability initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong technical management skills and is proficient in Business English. An openness to travel is necessary for this role.

Train Performance Manager (TPM)

Scope of Mission

Leads the Train System’s Technical Development & Validation throughout the V-cycle and lifecycle and ensures that train performances fulfil the customer & regulatory requirements. TPM is the main focal point to the customer for train performance & functionality topics.

TPM is also accountable for the Train Reliability, for Train Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), for LCC target achievement, for Cybersecurity, for Validation and Engineering contribution to Certification & Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Acts as main technical focal point for the customer for train performance topics.
• Leads the train system development and validation (operability analysis, system definition and architecture, performances, functions)
• Ensures conversion of customer and regulatory requirements into train level requirements & specifications
• Collects and analyses customer needs and requirements
• Leads operational analysis
• Leads development of a consistent set of train level requirements & specifications, complying with Alstom standards
• Leads functional analysis, specification, and architecture at system level in collaboration with Sub-Systems Groups, esp. C&IS
• Leads requirements specification and allocation to sub-system level, including electrical & functional interfaces definition
• Supports System Engineers and Sub-Systems Engineers and ensures that Sub-Systems’ design is converging toward specified targets along project life cycle convergence
• Leads verification and validation activities at system level
• During train revenue service leads technical open issues resolution in line with project strategy, from investigation to modification implementation and problem closure
