We are seeking a Cost Control Expert to join our Project Cost Control department. The Senior Cost Controller ensures accurate, timely, and value-added analysis and reporting on projects. Responsibilities include cost performance status reporting, budget setup, updates, monitoring, change management, variation estimating, cost reporting, risk contingency management, and forecasting activities. The role reports directly to the Project Cost Manager (functionally) and to the Project Control Manager or Cost Controller Coordinator, depending on project scale.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand the Project Contract and Scope of Work to prepare the Project Cost Breakdown structure.
• Collect and analyze all project costs (actual, committed, and estimate to complete) for forecasting and accruals calculation.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis and reporting periodically.
• Produce short and long-term cash flow projections regularly.
• Participate in estimating Variation Orders and incorporate validated budgets into the cost control system.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration. Professional qualifications in Cost Management, Project Management, or Engineering are desirable.

Years of Experience:

4-6 years of project controls experience as a Cost Controller, with understanding of EPC projects.

IT Skills:

Experience with databases like SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a strong team-building attitude and results orientation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
• Attention to detail and capacity for precise analysis and logical synthesis.

Location: Milan (Italy) - willingness to transfer is required.
