Overview

Trade and Logistics Global Implementation Manager - Flexible Location

Join ABB for the Trade and Logistics Global Implementation Manager - Flexible Location role. ABB is a global leader in industrial technology.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the execution of large and complex key strategic initiatives within Trade & Logistics (T&L). A key focus is to develop and implement the trade compliance procedure and framework and the transport visibility portal. This role will support developing, implementing and running safe, compliant, sustainable and lean T&L operations, and drive a superior customer experience throughout the extended value chain - from supplier to end customer.

• Support the development of the functional T&L strategy (incl. trade compliance and optimization of logistics networks and performance, packaging, warehousing, digitalization, planning, end-to-end transparency).
• Make the T&L strategy actionable for an effective roll-out, define and drive the transformation roadmap for a more responsive, integrated and sustainable end-to-end Value Chain (from Suppliers to End Customer).
• Lead large scale strategic initiatives such as the transport visibility portal, global trade compliance improvement 2.0, digitalization of T&L operations, Incoterm conversion, cost-out initiatives, outsourcing/in-sourcing projects and global TMS applications.

Qualifications For The Role

• Master’s degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration with 7+ years of experience across the end-to-end Value Chain.
• Proven leadership in direct and remote settings, with strong project management, team building, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in driving change management and continuous improvement initiatives, with a quality- and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communicator with strong intercultural sensitivity and experience in navigating complex multinational organizations.
• Fluent in English. Able to work under pressure, prioritize in ambiguity, and travel globally.
• Strong business sense and urgency, with a good understanding of statistics and probability considered an advantage.
