Technical Service Specialist

As a Technical Service Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—ensuring our diagnostic instruments perform at their best to support accurate and timely patient care. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and upgrading our systems, supporting installations, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the first line of support for Abbott Ambassadors, resolving service issues efficiently (under 4 hours labor time).
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities to ensure optimal instrument performance.
  • Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations, contributing to seamless transitions for our clients.
  • Support hardware and software upgrades (TSBs) to keep systems up to date.
How Success is Measured
  • Customer satisfaction (NPS)
  • Achievement of service KPIs
  • Contribution to economic growth and profitability in your district
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in:
    • Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Biotechnology, or Clinical Engineering
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar technical service role
  • Proven ability to engage with lab staff and healthcare professionals
  • Strong technical expertise in diagnostic instruments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
