A luxury cruise line is seeking an IT Systems Integration Specialist to report to the IT Systems Integration Lead. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions within architectural principles. Candidates should have 1-2 years of system integration experience and preferably a MuleSoft certification. Strong understanding of integration technologies and collaboration with teams is essential. Fluency in English is required, and experience in the cruise industry is a must.

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the IT Systems Integration Lead in Explora Journeys, our recently launched Luxury Cruises line of MSC, the IT Systems Integration Specialist will be involved in planning, coordination, solution development and implementation activities related to the integration projects in alignment with IT Strategy and the global IT architecture.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design, development, and deploy of integration solutions within the EJ architectural principles and guidelines;
• Application of standard development methods covering the full development lifecycle to ensure solution quality;
• Robust understanding of integration design patterns & best practices to transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications;
• Collaboration with other Solution Architecture/Designer/Leads/Developers to ensure consistency and quality of solutions;
• Understanding of technical integration technologies such as API ops, XML/JSON concepts, as well as other web and database technology;

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

• 1-2 years experience in the system integration domain;
• A bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent work experience;
• MuleSoft certification highly preferred;
• Experience with E2E system implementation process and Common Integration Framework;
• Proven experience with designing and building MuleSoft projects for different orchestration and integration patterns. Experience with the 3-layered approach to API’s in an API-led architecture. Experience in architecting solutions with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Expertise on Design patterns for building MuleSoft Solutions ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing. Build integration strategy based on principles of reusability, security, scalability, and quality leveraging MuleSoft Platform;
• Experience with design, development and deployment of SOA based architecture for a large organization leveraging multiple COTS Business applications is preferred;
• Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, XSLT, WS-*, SOA/Integration, and API Management technologies and standards;
• Experience with using a JAVA IDE (Eclipse, Intelli J, Netbeans);
• Experience working with multiple Mule connectors such as Salesforce, SAP, Data Warehouse, HTTP Listener/Requestor, Database is a plus;
• Experience with designed and developed Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts including REST-ful and SOAP-based services;
• Experience with designed and developed enterprise services using RAML and REST based APIs Experienced in both Agile and waterfall methodologies;
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, business partners and collaborate well within a team environment to drive results;
• Proven experience in cruises industry is required;
• Fluent in English, oral and written. Any other language is an advantage.
