We’re looking for a hands‑on Systems Engineer with a background in requirements management, design for manufacturing, hardware/software development for hardware test.

The Optical Inter‑Satellite Link Production team is a multi‑disciplinary organization responsible for all aspects of production of the key modules enabling satellite‑to‑satellite communication. This role is part of the Sustaining Engineering Team that we are building to support OISL manufacturing as we scale production. This is the technical arm of this organization, with 20+ engineers from all disciplines collaborating on all aspects of technical development & execution in production.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
