We’re seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Program Manager in Herndon or Arlington, VA to oversee data center build projects in the Northern Virginia region. You will lead cross‑functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Along the way, you will use your judgment, negotiation skills, influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non‑value‑add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
The candidate must be comfortable managing remote project delivery teams and facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues and remove barriers to project success. They must stand up cross‑functional teams, establish trust, manage capital budgets, eliminate non‑value‑add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and accelerate delivery.
Key qualifications include strong communication skills, experience in tactical and strategic program management of highly technical initiatives, application of project management tools and methodologies, and demonstrated expertise in scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risk management, and reporting. Experience with MS Project, Asana, Tableau, or systems integration is a plus.
Preferred qualifications are experience managing data center infrastructure deployments, background in architecture/design or mechanical/electrical engineering, software/hardware engineering, data center operations, or construction, and a transition to program management.
