A leading technology company in Varese is looking for a Software Test Engineer for its Aerospace & Aviation division. You will join an international team responsible for software testing for the Virtual Maintenance Trainer. Key responsibilities include system requirements analysis, defining tests, executing procedures, tracking bugs, and preparing documentation. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering fields is required. The role offers a permanent contract in an environment that values diversity and teamwork.

TXT E-Tech, a TXT Group company, is looking for a Software Test Engineer for the Aerospace & Aviation division.

The candidate will be part of an international team responsible for defining and executing software testing for the Virtual Maintenance Trainer (VMT).

Main responsibilities

• System requirements analysis;
• Definition of software functional and acceptance tests;
• Execution of test procedures in line with the test plan and project milestones;
• Tracking of detected bug and subsequent verification of their resolution;
• Preparation of technical documentation (Master Test Plan, Acceptance Test Procedure, Acceptance Test Report);
• Support to system installation at the End User Site;

Participation in project meetings and reviews.

Required technical skills

• Basic knowledge of aircraft on-board systems;

Knowledge of the English language

Experience in the aviation industry, in software testing activities, and knowledge of software life cycle will be considered a plus.

Required education

Bachelor's and / or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

The ideal candidate has aptitude for teamwork, accuracy, proactivity, meticulousness, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
