Join our team! We are looking for a Software Developer. This position, based in the Technical Department, will support the Software Developer Coordinator, working closely with the Software Development team.

🔍 ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of PLC control software, fostering product innovation and providing support for testing and production activities.

In particular, you will support the team in the following activities:

  • Development, testing, and maintenance of PLC software (IEC 61131‑3, Structured Text);
  • Analysis of technical requirements in collaboration with the Technical Department, Testing & Prototypes, and Production;
  • Technical support for testing and troubleshooting activities during the production phase;
  • Support in drafting and updating technical documentation (manuals, operating procedures, etc.);
  • Development and optimization of integrated HMI and Web Server integration.

Availability to undertake short-term national and international travel is required.

🎯 REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
  • Technical background (degree in Computer Engineering/Automation Engineering/equivalent or a diploma in Computer Science);
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • At least 4 years of prior experience in the role or solid experience in PLC programming (preferably IEC 61131‑3, Structured Text);
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, BACnet) and ability to read and understand electrical schematics;
  • Knowledge of C#, Python, or JavaScript for support tools and automation systems preferably;
  • Proactive attitude and teamwork orientation, with a hands‑on and constructive approach to finding structured and effective solutions, along with a strong focus on Quality.
