Step into a key role in Finance at Ellab in Italy!

Ellab is experiencing rapid growth and we're looking for a skilled Senior Interim Accountant to lead accurate reporting, streamline processes and support our team through transition.

What you will be doing in this role?
As a Senior Interim Accountant you’ll play a key role in financial accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting, reconciling accounts and preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with national/international standards.

The primary goal of this role is to provide transparent financial reporting, streamline processes and support the company reliably during transitional periods or restructurings.

Additionally, you will coordinate and guide accounting teams, assist with internal/external audits and actively contribute to the optimization of financial processes.

Skills you’ll bring to Ellab
You have knowledge of financial accounting and reporting, with the ability to independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with national and international standards.

You’re experienced in conducting financial analyses, preparing management reports and ensuring full compliance with tax regulations and legal requirements.

Your expertise includes monitoring and optimizing accounting processes, collaborating effectively with internal teams and external auditors and driving efficiency through process improvements.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of proven professional experience in accounting or financial reporting, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of local Gaap and IFRS (or comparable accounting standards).
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (experience during implementation/migration is a strong plus).
• Solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; familiarity with reporting and consolidation tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented way of working.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with auditors and cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in Italy and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside regular business hours and travel as needed.
