Overview

Frontend Developer - Flutter Expert

Polus Tech is a fast-growing deep-tech startup revolutionizing the Public Safety industry with groundbreaking connectivity solutions. Our mission is to provide cutting-edge communication tools that enable seamless coordination in critical, real-time Public Safety situations.

We are expanding our team and seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in Flutter, map interfaces, and data visualization. This is a rare opportunity to combine advanced frontend engineering with high-impact design, shaping the next generation of our geospatial product features.

What You’ll Do

Frontend Development (Core) :

• Build and ship scalable Flutter Web applications with high performance and smooth UX.
• Create interactive maps using Mapbox and MapLibre, integrating GeoJSON and Tileserver GL.
• Implement robust state management with Provider, Bloc, or Cubit.
• Model immutable data structures using Freezed.
• Integrate REST APIs and STOMP WebSockets for real-time data flows.
• Optimize performance and data handling in collaboration with backend engineers.

Additional Responsibilities (Nice-to-Have) :

• Contribute to CI / CD pipelines and deployment processes (Bitbucket Pipelines, Docker, Nginx).
• Support AWS hosting and scaling (S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudFront).
• Experiment with tools like Mason, Bun, and TypeScript for workflow optimization.
• Assist in the migration or maintenance of legacy Angular components.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills :

• Proven experience building production-grade Flutter Web applications.
• Strong track record in map-based and data visualization.
• Experience with Mapbox or MapLibre and GeoJSON.
• Proficiency in Bloc / Cubit / Provider and clean architecture principles.
• Understanding of mobile responsiveness and cross-platform design standards.
• Excellent information architecture and product-oriented mindset.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to integrate feedback quickly.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

• Knowledge of Docker, Nginx, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Familiarity with Mason, Bun, TypeScript, or Ansible.
• Experience with legacy Angular systems.
