A leading electronics manufacturer located in Bologna, Italy, is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer AI. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ARM architectures, proficiency in industrial communication protocols, and expertise in embedded Linux. You'll be responsible for developing firmware for AI-capable embedded systems and optimizing AI workflows. Strong communication skills in English and a degree in a STEM field are required for this role. This is a full-time position offering competitive benefits.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in embedded electronics.
• Experience with AI development and training frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Mansioni

• Design and develop firmware for embedded systems with AI capabilities.
• Integrate drivers and manage device trees for embedded Linux platforms.
• Oversee the lifecycle of electronic boards including PCB revisions.
• Develop and optimize AI pipelines for training and inference.
• Collaborate with external partners for application development.
• Manage documentation, BOMs, feasibility analysis, and manuals.
• Support customer interactions on technical topics.

Conoscenze

Strong knowledge of ARM architectures

Proficiency with industrial communication buses

Experience in reading electrical schematics

Solid background in embedded Linux

Fluent in written and spoken English

Formazione
