A leading consulting firm is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager for a hybrid role in Pescara, Italy. You will lead an S4HANA migration project, integrating with stakeholders from supply chain and finance sectors. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of SAP Project Management experience and strong technical knowledge of SAP architecture. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Overview

For one of my customer we are looking for a SAP Project Manager for a S4HANA migration project. Ideally we are seeking a consultant who also combines hands-on SAP configuration expertise (Supply Chain or Finance), so this opportunity could also apply to a Senior Business Analyst seeking to evolve towards Project Management roles.

Location: Pescara, Italy(Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of the SAP S/4HANA migration project,
• Collaborate with technical teams to oversee migration activities, including system conversion, data cleansing, and cutover.
• Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure functional and technical alignment.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans proactively.
• Organize and lead project governance meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee system testing (SIT, UAT), data validation, and training readiness.
• Manage third-party vendors and SAP consultants as part of the delivery team.
• Ensure all project documentation and reporting are accurate and up to date.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP Project Management experience, with at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA migration.
• Strong hands-on technical knowledge of SAP architecture, system conversion processes, and integration with other platforms.
• Experience managing data migration, technical cutovers, and system validation.
• Working knowledge of SAP modules related to Supply Chain (MM, SD, PP, WM, EWM, etc.).
• Exposure to SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules is a strong advantage.
• Ability to collaborate closely with both technical and functional teams.
• Fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken.
