Overview

The Sales Specialist directly manages a designated territory (DIRECT CENTERS), where they are responsible for achieving sales targets through the promotion of the company's product portfolio, related technologies, and therapies. They also provide support to OTHER COMMERCIAL AREAS managed by their sales manager, through presence in the field, training operators on the use of company products, delivering technical and clinical presentations, and implementing commercial campaigns. They also participate in the company’s clinical and product projects to become a trainer in new capabilities.

Job Functions

For all the centers :

  • Achieve sales targets;
  • Propose actions for the development of potential centers in conjunction with sales manager and salesforce;
  • Provide technical support in the field when necessary;
  • OR presence when necessary;
  • Participate in conferences and meetings and support field marketing actions;
  • Organize update training for doctors and department staff and product presentations;
  • Provide information on the market / products / competitors and any information useful for developing a business strategy;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of contracts to participate in tenders.

For the centers directly managed, in addition to the previous activities, the sales specialist has to :

  • Compile sales target / forecasts;
  • Take responsibility for the implementation of campaign / action plan;
  • Work with procurement to stimulate invoice orders, manage consignment.

The Sales Specialist must also :

  • Use Account Planning and Commercial Excellence tools (e.g., CCP.com);
  • Demonstrate unwavering ethical behavior and contribute to spreading a culture of compliance throughout the organization, ensuring knowledge of compliance issues and the application of its policies.
