Sales Manager - Italy
Location: Italy (Work from home). Full‑time, full‑time position with career advancement opportunities. Monday to Friday, requires travel, legally working in Italy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales and marketing team to achieve sales growth and reach sales targets for the ChemScence product line in Italy.
- Promote ChemScence brand and products in Italy.
- Interact well with customers, maintain good customer relationships, visit customers regularly, and develop new customers in a professional manner.
- Professionally receive customer calls, chats, and emails regarding orders and technical questions.
- Communicate accurate information regarding products, prices, product availability, and current promotions to customers.
- Work as an effective team player to ensure the highest level of efficiency and success for the team.
- Cooperate with the BD manager and marketing manager to participate in product branding and marketing events.
- Collect local market and industry information, conduct market research, and share findings with the team to inform marketing strategies and plans.
- Have excellent business communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), organizational skills, and computer skills.
- Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and to generate leads for new audiences.
- Accept customer inquiries and build customer files; follow up order processing and delivery; provide after‑sale service.
- Attend exhibitions, scientific conferences, and trade shows; develop marketing campaigns; collect customer information.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry, organic chemistry, drug chemistry, biochemistry, or related disciplines. (Must)
- Familiarity with the chemical or biomedical or pharmaceutical industry in Italy.
- Willingness to engage in sales work and withstand some work pressure.
- Friendly, talkative, open‑minded, and strong sense of responsibility.
- High level of self‑motivation and perseverance.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English. (Must)
