The Opportunity:

As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our client's state-of-the-art additive manufacturing solutions across Italy. This is a unique opportunity to blend your technical aptitude with your sales acumen, contributing to the growth of a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Northern Italian market, focusing on the additive manufacturing sector.
  2. Client Engagement: Conduct initial client meetings, understand their specific needs, and present tailored solutions.
  3. Sales & Application Support: Balance a sales-focused role (70%) with application support (30%), providing technical guidance and demonstrations.
  4. Training & Exhibitions: Participate in comprehensive training and development programs and represent the company at industry exhibitions and events.
  5. Sales Process Support: Collaborate with the Business Manager and Sales Managers to close sales and achieve targets.
  6. Travel: Be prepared for frequent travel within Northern Italy.

Your Profile:

  1. Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the additive manufacturing/capital equipment industry/ manufacturing.
  2. A strong understanding of technical concepts and a passion for learning about advanced technologies.
  3. An engineering background is highly desirable, but a strong sales track record is paramount.
  4. Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English.
  5. A valid driver's license.
  6. Preferably located in the North of Italy.
