Description

UH Parma Medical Center Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center. The ED is a 32-bed unit with 24 beds on the main side, including 23 monitor beds and 2 trauma bays. The Super Track area has 8 beds run by an Advanced Practice Provider.

Our ED Team is a giant family. We thrive on teamwork! If it wasn't for teamwork, the ED would struggle to get through the day. We spend a lot of time together, both in and outside of work. Our ED likes to joke around and have fun together while caring for our patients.

Responsibilities

Provides safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process to help them attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective, relationship-based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that ensure safe practice and positive outcomes. Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops oneself professionally and contributes to the nursing team's growth. Exhibits leadership that influences clinical and operational outcomes. ACLS/PALS certification may be required based on clinical area standards.
