A leading automotive components manufacturer in Piemonte, Italy is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of components and products. Responsibilities include monitoring and improving factory processes, leading root-cause analyses, and collaborating on quality initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 2-3 years of experience in the automotive industry, and a solid understanding of quality standards including IATF 16949. Strong problem-solving mindset and English proficiency are essential.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer who will work in the quality department to ensure the quality of components and products, supporting both current production and the launch of new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and improve internal factory processes, in collaboration with the Production, Logistics, Industrialisation and Product Development departments, in line with automotive quality standards.
  • Collaborate PPAP and APQP activities for new and existing products.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis and resolution of internal and external non‑conformities (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa).
  • Track and improve quality KPIs and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance quality performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
  • 2‑3 years of experience in the field as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Solid understanding of automotive standards: IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, MSA.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand manufacturing processes.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and strong organizational skills.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
