Overview
Lead the authorization, design, and construction of auxiliary & facilities (EPC). Important project with significant regional and national impact.
Responsibilities
- The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring all auxiliary and ancillary packages are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards of quality and safety.
- Lead the full lifecycle of authorizations, design, and execution for all assigned auxiliary and ancillary facilities, ensuring alignment with project objectives, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Manage and coordinate multiple contractors and suppliers across various technological and engineering disciplines, ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, quality requirements, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with local authorities and public institutions to obtain required environmental and construction permits.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely project delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the execution of work packages, promoting a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Work with the cost controller to manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality (EHSQ) standards throughout all project phases.
- Monitor project KPIs and report regularly to the Project Director on progress, risks and mitigation strategies.
- Resolve technical, logistical, or administrative issues in collaboration with the broader project team and stakeholders.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary integration and alignment between auxiliary systems and core plant infrastructure.
- Participate in contract management, change control processes, and commercial negotiations
- Regularly support the Construction Manager in reporting on project progress
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management (a related field/Master's preferred).
- Proven experience in heavyIndustry projects (preferred EPC or Oil & Gas or Power generation or steel).
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in complex industrial projects, with at least part of that experience in an international context.
- Deep understanding of permitting processes and regulatory compliance, particularly in industrial construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE), with a track record of promoting safety and compliance on construction sites.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications preferred.
- Solid experience in managing complex environmental requirements, including waste management, recycling, and sustainable construction practices.

- High competence in regulatory management, particularly in environmentally sensitive and high-authorization burden contexts.
- Solid background in project planning tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and project management methodologies.
- Risk & Cost Management, Quality Assurance & Control, Waste Treatment & Recycling Strategies, Building codes and site safety regulations
- Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
