Overview

Greentalent, recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market, on behalf of a company operating in the renewable energy sector is looking for a:

Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing medium-scale PV construction projects across Italy, from the ready-to-build stage through commissioning and grid connection. As a key member of the EPC team, the Project Manager will oversee suppliers and contractors, coordinate with grid operators, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects, while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from RTB stage to COD, managing all activities until grid connection;
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and technical requirements;
• Supervise site activities, construction works, and HSE compliance;
• Manage the preparation and monitoring of construction schedules, CAPEX, and risk matrices;
• Oversee relationships with DSOs for grid connections;
• Collaborate with Legal Counsel and Project Engineers to ensure permits, contracts, and technical documentation are complete and compliant;
• Support the negotiation and execution of EPC and O&M contracts, as well as insurance coverage;
• Ensure smooth handover of projects to the Asset Management team.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering;
• Previous experience in PV construction management, ideally on medium-voltage and medium-scale projects;
• Solid understanding of grid connection processes and relations with DSOs;
• Proven ability to manage suppliers, contractors, and construction activities;
• Autonomy and adaptability to lean and dynamic environments, preferably gained in medium-sized companies;
• Fluency in English and Italian is required; Spanish is a plus;
• Willingness to work across Italy, with flexibility for remote working.
