Our partner is a multinational Non‑Profit Organization operating in over 20 countries worldwide in support of environmental sustainability.

The role will provide overall leadership across commercial, communications, and marketing functions of the region, ensuring effective coordination and delivery of country‑specific objectives. The position plays a central role in increasing stakeholder and consumer awareness, trust, and understanding, as well as in driving the uptake of ecolabel use across retail and foodservice sectors.

In addition to operating within the core strategic pillars of communications and commercial partnerships, the postholder will develop and lead relationships with key environmental NGOs (eNGOs), government bodies, and other relevant stakeholders, building long‑term support for and alignment with the program’s mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a multidisciplinary, cross‑country team;
  • Drive regional strategy execution in line with the broader organizational vision;
  • Oversee commercial, communications, and marketing activities across the region;
  • Manage complex stakeholder ecosystems, including institutional and NGO relationships;
  • Ensure strong coordination across functions and geographies to achieve regional and local targets;
  • Act as a senior representative of the program at regional and international level.
Job Profile

The selected candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a people manager, with a strong track record in team building and leadership;
  • Experience gained across different functions (e.g. marketing, sales, communications, supply chain, partnerships);
  • Exposure to diverse environments, including corporate, NGO, foundation, or mission‑driven organizations;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels;
  • Strong curiosity, learning mindset, and openness to continuous development;
  • Fluent English (C1/C2) is mandatory, as a significant portion of interactions will be conducted in English;
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Milan.
