Position Overview
For maternity cover (fixed term contract) we are seeking a talented Production Associate to support our Women's division in managing the manufacturing of Ralph Lauren luxury womenswear brands, primarily produced in Italy and Portugal. This role will be instrumental in managing fabric procurement and overseeing production processes.
· Attend fittings and Line Reviews to be updated on any change in the line and closely work with Vendors to update costs and consumptions so that fabric orders cover actual need
· Attend fabric risk assessment so that quality issues and callouts from samples making are addressed in advance and 3 rd part fabric inspection facilities inspectors, RL Quality team and vendors are aligned on fabric quality expectations(defects vs inherent faultiness depending on the style)
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· 2-3 years’ experience in Textile Fashion and Apparel Industry
· Fluent English and Italian Written and Spoken
· Ability to manage pro-actively and reactively all the changes involved in the processes.
· Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities based on tight deadlines and calendars
· Strong analytical skills
· Detail and accuracy oriented
· Good communication skills with internal and external partners.
· Flexibility to work under pressure and strong sense of teamwork
· Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
